“National Dance Institute’s Jessi Colon and Yakir Ben-Hur, led the Miami City Ballet Community Engagement Teaching Artists through a training in the NDI methodology. They worked within the Miami City Ballet curriculum and demonstrated to our faculty how ballet can be taught in a fun and engaging way for elementary school aged children. Over the 3 days, our teachers grew in confidence with all of the tools they received as well as the opportunity to practice teach and receive honest, yet encouraging feedback. The training is already increasing our impact out in our community’s schools. I cannot thank the NDI team enough!”
